/In Brazil Christmas is celebrated on December 25th. They call Santa, Papai Noel. In Brazil if you leave a sock near a window Papai Noel will exchange it for a present. A fun fact in Brazil "Bom Velhinho" means good old man. One tradition that the people in Brazil share is to create a Nativity scene. Another tradition is Catholics go to midnight mass and get home at 1:00 am on Christmas morning. Also a tradition is for fireworks to go off in the skies, over the cities and over huge trees.The last tradition is that their decorations include fresh flowers picked from the garden. They eat turkey, ham, rice, salad, pork, and fresh dried fruit.They say "Feliz Natal" for "Merry Christmas".
